Ares is the god of undisciplined war, so just running to your enemy and fight. He has affairs with Aphrodite, while she's married to Hephaistos. He is always in armour and his attributes are his helmet with plumes, shield and spear (♂). In Rome, he's much more disciplined and also fights with strategy.
